The Toonami O.V.A recently got some dubbed voice actors announced from Funimation. If the Samurai Jack Toonami extension isn't temporary, they'd probably shuffle Super to the front and need something new to replace Jack (or possibly to replace something else while Jack pops back in the later run period).

    Think it might be possible?

Though as I am not sure on the exact length of the O.V.A, perhaps they might air it during a break period instead of a marathon as they have done recently.

    Happy Anniversary, Toonami!

For those who waited after 5th, 10th, and passed the 15th Anniversary like April Fools 2012, you are the Toonami fans whose excited the 20 Year Anniversary, under the Classic Pipes set on the former Cartoon Network block. Pretty cool, huh?

Well, here's the videos on 5th and the 10th anniversaries, also an April Fools Hodgepodge:

    We're now hitting 20!

    March 13, 2017 by Gamer8500

So, the 20th anniversary special is this Saturday, aside from the videos, I thought of a potential fanbase schedule, fitting for ONE NIGHT ONLY!!!

    • 12:00am = Sand Whale and Me
    • 12:30am = Dragon Ball Z
    • 1:00am = Gundam Wing
    • 1:30am = Tenchi Muyo
    • 2:15am = Outlaw Star
    • 2:45am = Yu Yu Hakusho
    • 3:15am = Big O
    • 3:45am = Blue Sub 6
    • 4:30am = Death Note
    • 5:00am = Teen Titans (2003)
    • 5:30am = Powerpuff Girls (1998)

Most of these shows are from the fans on Facebook. I threw "Death Note" in because then, there can be a show that Adult Swim aired, but never on the real Toonami block.

I know the last two slots are not from the fans on Facebook, but seems fitting.

    So, there you have it.

First of all, let me say that I am sad to see One Piece leaving Toonami. :( I've been behind on watching the episodes on my DVD sets, and so watching One Piece on Toonami was the first time that I've seen all of these episodes of One Piece, by watching them as they air on Toonami. It's sad to see One Piece on Toonami go away, but given the sheer length of the series, I can certainly understand why.

Any one else sad to see One Piece leaving Toonami?

Any ways, here's my line-up prediction for Saturday, March 25, 2017:

    11:00 PM: Samurai Jack

    11:30 PM: Dragon Ball Super

12:00 AM: Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters

    12:30 AM: JoJo's Bizarre Adventures

    1:00 AM: Tokyo Ghoul

1:30 AM: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn: RE: 0096

So, now we know that Sand Whale and Me will start on the 18th @ 12:00am (If you recall from the polls, 54% of the fans oppose the idea, and, from my dream 20th Anniversary, that would've been Yu Yu Hakusho).

So maybe it could be an all-night event, even though I don't see Toonami air new episodes of the current shows until the 25th.

But, I do anticipate the following:

    1. Some classic Toonami shows before 2012
    2. The Broken Promises video
    3. A loaded game review
    4. A "throwback" intro and bumpers

Just recently announced on Toonami Pre-Flight on AdultSwim.com that the new Season of Samurai Jack will be airing at 11:00 PM, on Saturday, March 11, 2017, and not 11:30 PM, like we had originally thought. This means that Toonami will start half an hour earlier that week, with Samurai Jack leading the block.

So the block will be like this:

    11:00 PM: Samurai Jack

    11:30 PM: Dragon Ball Super

12:00 AM: Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters

    12:30 AM: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

    1:30 AM: Hunter x Hunter

    2:00 AM: Naruto Shippuden

    2:30 AM: One Piece

Well, as we all know by now, on Saturday, March 11, 2017, Toonami will premiere the new season of Samurai Jack at 11:30 PM, the same exact slot that Dragon Ball Super is currently airing in now. But what could this mean for the rest of the block? I can see one of four possible things happening on this date:

    Either the first being:

The block gets expanded by an extra half hour, ending at 4:00 AM, making the line-up like this:

    11:30 PM: Samurai Jack

    12:00 AM: Dragon Ball Super

12:30 AM: Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters

    1:00 AM: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

1:30 AM: Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn: RE: 0096

    2:00 AM: Hunter X Hunter

    2:30 AM: Naruto Shippuden

    3:00 AM: One Piece

3:30 AM: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

Hi, long time no see! It's 2017 and almost 20 years, so guess what?

It's the new album RTJ3, which means Run The Jewels 3 released! As of Toonami fans, thanks to Run The Jewels and to all of you! So, unlike Run The Jewels 1 & 2, i agree with Toonami hodgepodge on January 21st at 11:30pm-3:30am.

If your RTJ3 find Toonami out, why don't you leave in the comments below?

Apparently, a lot of fans oppose the idea of Toonami airing Sand Whale and Me.

So, if I were Toonami, for the night of the 20th anniversary, I would go back in time to TOM 3 and run for 7.5 hours.

    Schedule for that night:

    • 10:30pm = Peach Girl #1
    • 11:00pm = Peach Girl #2
    • 11:30pm = Sailor Moon
    • 12:00am = Yu Yu Hakusho + Game Review
    • 12:30am = Dragon Ball Z
    • 1:00am = Gundam Wing
    • 1:30am = Tenchi Muyo
    • 2:15am = Outlaw Star + Broken Promises
    • 2:45am = Big O
    • 3:15am = Cardcaptors
    • 3:45am = Blue Sub 6
    • 4:30am = Rurouni Kenshin
    • 5:00am = Teen Titans (2003 version)
    • 5:30am = Voltron

And yes, I would get the rights to air Peach Girl on Toonami.

A fanmade video is being made and should be on YouTube soon.

What do you think? What would your ideal 20th anniversary Toonami be?

Some hard-hitting awesome news for Toonami in January 7th.

---Toonami will be getting the 11:30 PM timeslot back.

---Speaking of which, that timeslot will be where Dragon Ball Super will be airing.

---The Buu saga, in the form of Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters, will be airing at midnight.

I'm personally still waiting for Samurai Jack (seriously, can't we at least get some sort of news about that, like what month it will finally be airing?), but hopefully this will be satisfying until then. What about you guys?

I know it has been confirmed that a Bang Zoom! Dub of Dragon Ball Super will be coming to Toonami Asia, but do you guys think the FUNimation Dub will be coming to the U.S. Toonami? Dragon Ball Z Kai will be ending on Toonami soon, do you guys think that Dragon Ball Super would be a good replacement of it? Personally, I don't think the Buu saga of Kai will ever air, so that's why I think Dragon Ball Super might be a good replacement.

FUNimation also announced the cast for Dragon Ball Super and the Kai Narrator will be narrating it, also Laura Bailey will not be reprising her role as kid Trunks, her replacement for the show is Alexis Tipton.

A few updates for Toonami in December of this year.

According to the backdoor schedule , on December 17th, Dragon Ball Z Kai (or at least the Cell Saga) will conclude with Episode 98, which was exclusive to the DVD/Blu-Ray release and never aired on U.S. television before. Since Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will have finished its run the week before, we'll also get two episodes of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure this week.

After that, December 24th and December 31st will have marathons of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Dragon Ball Z Kai, respectively.

Personally, I'm still waiting for any news on either Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters or the new season of Samurai Jack. What do you guys think?

When the fifth season of Samurai Jack was officially announced, the closest thing we had to a release date was "late 2016". It's a very vague release date, and the closer we come to the next year, more and more people are thinking the season won't premiere until 2017.

However, there's at least two shows ending in December: Dragon Ball Z Kai and Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Assuming that Cartoon Network Studios isn't having any production troubles behind the scenes, this means that the season could still technically be able to premiere in late 2016.

What do you guys think? Will Samurai Jack be able to premiere in December? Or will we have to wait until 2017?

    Sad news!

Uh, Hey guys. Last week uh... I have sad news. I know you're super excited for The Intruder 3 in November.

But I have been doing a lot of thinking and a lot of growing over Toonami past 19 years, and... I just... Don't think TOM can do this again. I've just become way too mature for [adult swim], so I think I'm just completely done with Moltar in 1997. Don't know if Clay Martin Croker died of food poisoning.

    ... no new polls?

    September 4, 2016 by AceAttorney9000

At the time this blog page is created, the Toonami poll will be on the topic of which Toonami show should be aired twice a broadcast. The poll is usually updated with a new topic at the beginning of every month, but the current poll was made back in June, and hasn't been updated since.

What happened? Are the admins (or whoever handles the poll) too busy nowadays? Was it decided that the poll would be no longer updated? Are there no longer any good ideas for the poll?

Toonami announced at SDCC '16 that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, one of the most requested shows for the block (and one that I've personally been hoping for and waiting to air), will finally begin airing in October, possibly replacing One Punch Man when that show finishes its run.

I got into the show when I bought the Warner Bros. DVD release and watched it with the english dub. It's one of the most badass shows I've ever seen, with awesome fight scenes, a deliciously hammy english dub courtesy of Bang Zoom, a fantastic soundtrack including the opening theme (say it with me... There's only 3 more episodes left of Samurai Champloo before it ends on July 2, 2016. I wonder what kind of new show that Toonami will get to replace it, this time?

Me? Well, at this point I don't really care what they get to replace it with, as long as it's something good that me and my brother can both try to enjoy together. And not something too bloody, and gruesome like Hellsing Ultimate, and Parasyte the Maxim. My brother never did like either of those, cause they were too bloody and gruesome.

It's painfully obvious to me at this point that Toonami doesn't really care much to bring back a lot of the older shows that I like, and that it's all about airing the new shows that haven't been seen on Toonami before.

    6. Accel World
    7. Sailor Moon: Crystal
    8. Seraph of the End
    9. Jormungand
    10. Attack on Titan: Junior High

Those are just my suggestions, but if you have more shows in mind please comment below. To be honest, the show that I want on Toonami the most is One Punch Man (since it doesn't have a dub yet).

    1. Hunter x Hunter, one of the most requested shows for Toonami, will be making its dub premiere at 1:00 AM, replacing Parasyte.

There's only 2 Episodes of Parasyte the Maxim and Kill la Kill left to air on Toonami in next coming weeks. Personally, me and especially my brother will really be glad to see Parasyte the Maxim leave the block. My brother always hated Parasyte the Maxim, cause he thought it was too bloody and gory. I thought it was just decent and okay from what I've seen of Parasyte the Maxim, but still pretty gruesome.

Also, Kill la Kill will be ending it's rerun on the same week as Parasyte the Maxim, which is why I'm posting about both.

So as these two shows start to gradually come to an end, let's make our speculations about what will be replacing them both.
