IGPX was a Toonami game that was available to play on cartoonnetwork.com and toonami.com beginning on September 15, 2003. The game was sponsored by JAK II for the PS2 (SONY). The game was created to coincide with the IGPX Total Immersion Event, with each level opening each day during the event. Daily game codes were also given during the Toonami broadcast which could be used to unlock weapons.
The page for the game on cartoonnetwork.com also kept a running tally during the 5-day event to track which team had won more battles. Despite Team Suzaku being the protagonists of the mini-series, Team Sledge Mamma won 61% of the total battles. The game is no longer available at cartoonnetwork.com, but has been archived by fans.
Plot[]
This game combined the IGPX micro-series with an online mecha-tactics simulator. The player can choose to be either Team Suzaku or Team Sledge Mamma and battle the opposing team in 5 different levels. The team that destroys all 3 of the opposing team's mechs wins the match. Winning three out of five matches results in winning the tournament.
