From 1999 to 2001 Toonami ran a monthly-ish segment in which hand-drawn fan art was shown with clips of audio from Toonami shows in the background. The names of the artists were also featured along with their art. Unfortunately after the Anthrax mailing scare in 2001, the Toonami Staff weren't allowed to accept anymore fan art submissions so the segment ceased.

During each segment TOM would give Williams Street's mailing address and advise fans against tracing and light pencil drawings, if they were intending to send something in.

In May of 2000, when Toonami.com launched, several pieces of fan art were also posted on Toonami.com in a section titled "Toonami Art Blowup."[1]

On September 4, 2015, Toonami began posting fan art on their official Facebook page every Friday (titled Fan Art Friday).
