Since 1997 Toonami has had many sponsored sweepstakes, contests and giveaways that gave the loyal viewers a chance to win prizes. These giveaways were open to all residents of the continental United States. However, Florida was unexplainably excluded from most of them.

"Big Heavy Giveaway" Sweepstakes (1997)Edit

The "Big Heavy Giveaway" Sweepstakes was one of the first Toonami giveaways, beginning in June 1997 and ending on August 22, 1997. Every day during Toonami, viewers could call a toll free number given by Moltar for a chance to win a prize.

The Beast Wars Sweepstakes was a week long Toonami giveaway that occurred during the week of March 9-13, 1998. Viewers could call a toll free number given during Transformers Beast Wars' brief stint on Toonami for a chance to win a prize. The toll free number was 1-800-413-3000.

Banjo-Kazooie Sweepstakes (1998)Edit

The Banjo-Kazooie Sweepstakes was a week long Toonami giveaway that occurred in June 1998. The Banjo-Kazooie Giveaway differed slightly from previous Toonami Giveaways. In order to enter for a chance to win a prize, the viewer had to watch Toonami to get the mailing address and send in a postcard. The winners were randomly chosen.

The "Month of the Dragon" Sweepstakes was a Toonami giveaway that occurred during the "Month of the Dragon" (September 1998). During select commercial breaks, Spyro the Dragon would appear and reveal a toll free number that viewers could call for a chance to win a prize.

The "CyberTiger Giveaway" Sweepstakes was a Toonami giveaway, cosponsored by Electronic Arts (EA), that occurred during the week of October 25-29, 1999. Viewers could call a toll free number given during the broadcast on Friday, October 29th, for a chance to win a prize. The toll free number was 1-800-413-3000.

  • 1 Grand Prize Winner: won a free golf lesson, for themselves and friends, from PGA golfer Tiger Woods
  • 500 2nd Prize Winners: won a copy of CyberTiger for the PlayStation

"Ape Escape Giveaway" Sweepstakes (1999)Edit

The “Ape Escape Giveaway” Sweepstakes was a Toonami giveaway, cosponsored by Sony, that occurred from December 11-29, 1999. Viewers were asked to watch Toonami on three successive Wednesdays (December 13, 20, 27) and call the toll-free number given during the block to enter for a chance to win. The first 105 calls received each Wednesday won prizes, including five grand prize winners each day.

  • 1 Grand Prize Winner: won a private screening for him/herself and 50 of his/her friends (1 of whom must be Grand Prize Winner’s parent or legal guardian if Winner is a minor) of the feature-length motion picture Titan A.E. in the Grand Prize Winner's town of residence. The screening also included a live performance from 1 recording artist featured on the Titan A.E. soundtrack
  • 140 1st Prize Winners: won 1 copy of the Titan A.E. soundtrack and a "demo disk" of the Titan A.E. video game for the Sony PlayStation console.
  • 175 2nd Prize Winners: won 1 Titan A.E. t-shirt and 1 Titan A.E. poster.

Viewers were asked to choose the Absolution's new engine. The three engine choices were: The Talon ST, The Vermeer Mark IV, and the Harper GT88. Viewers could either call a toll free number given during the broadcast or cast their vote on Toonami.com to enter for a chance to win a prize.
